Evolve (Vinyasa Style)

Held: Thursdays at 7pm, Saturdays at 8:30am
Description: Evolve takes the traditional poses and sequences found in vinyasa flow classes and adds in focused exercises to increase mobility and to build strength, balance, and flexibility. You will move in this class in both big and small ways - bigger moments develop a bodily awareness to integrate the whole body in ways that mimic everyday actions and smaller movements build strength in targeted areas.
Credentials: Leigh received her 200 hour teacher training from Healing Waters. She is a philosophy professor, who teaches yoga philosophy along with western philosophy. She has trained with the teachers from Yoga Detour and is heavily influenced by their approach to teaching functional movement in yoga classes.
