Why Shine?
People often ask me why I named our yoga studio Shine. The answer is simple. When I practice yoga, I am lighter, brighter, and more connected. I’m my best self. When you are in our studio, I want you to Shine.

Yoga is the secret sauce. I opened a yoga studio because yoga makes all the other choices easier. A regular yoga practice is a gift to yourself. When you practice regularly, you not only feel stronger and more mobile in your body, your mind settles, and you choose healthy foods because you want them. You teach yourself to rest.

This is the program that will guide you to a steady, joyful life, every day. It’s the program that I made to reshape my own life through daily, science-backed approaches to nutrition, habit-building, sleep hygiene, and more.

Training & Yoga Teacher Certification
Are you ready to make an impact? For many of us, the way we make our lives better is by helping other people improve theirs. Shine offers a highly-rated Yoga Alliance Certified Foundational Yoga Teacher Training Program, but that’s just the beginning.
Module 2 ( rest and retreat) and 3 ( pain and chronic illness management through private sessions) of our 500-hour Advanced YTT is now enrolling.

When Shine Yoga moved into a great big community space, we built a giant dream catcher as the studio’s anchor. Students put their wishes on little slips of paper and attached them to the dream catcher.
We’ve moved and grown since then, but one thing hasn’t changed. When you practice with us, your dreams catch hold and your fears and worries slip right through the web.

Shine started as my dream, but it’s grown because of the amazing women who work with me every day to bring meaningful practices into your life.
Our teachers and expert are the feathers in our dream catcher, our anchors. They ground all of our dreams in the daily work.
Live it.
The golden heart is who we are and who we strive to be, as teachers, as educators, as students. For me, it’s who I am as a business owner.
It’s our set of values and our approach to yoga and to each other. It stands for our ethics. It’s why we were nominated for the Business Ethics Award.
